Touchdown is committed to and commits its clients to observe current laws and rules of professional conduct in the area of electronic communications.

Touchdown is a member of the French National Union of Direct Communication and, therefore, endorses and follows its professional conduct code for direct electronic communications. This document may be read in full by clicking here



Privacy protection of the recipients of our customers’ campaigns

All addresses, except exceptions, and telephone numbers used to send e-mail or SMS from our Services are data provided by our customers. By accepting our general conditions, our customers contractually commit themselves to respect the laws in force, notably the law “Data Protection Act” and the law for the “Digital Economy Law” for France.

All users of Touchdown must agree with this emailing list charter:

Before sending any email campaigns with advertising purposes, the user must have received prior free and specific consent from the recipient of the messages if they include addresses or private phone numbers unless the recipient is already a customer and the message is related to products or services which are similar to the ones already provided.

All electronic mail must specify the identity of the advertiser and include a relevant subject related to the content of the message sent. A means for unsubscribing must also be present.

Touchdown formally prohibits the use of its Touchdown software and Services to engage in any illegal or illicit activities and to send or store illegal content.

Touchdown does not authorize the use of its Services to send and host content which is violent, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, harmful or discriminating nor content aimed at promoting certain sensitive activities such as online gaming, casinos, offers to make money, clairvoyance, weight loss, etc.



Reporting junk email

If you feel that you have received an unwanted message that does not comply with the regulations or our Terms and Conditions, we invite people to contact us at abuse@touchdown.co. Please include a copy of the message and the reason for your complaint. A complaint handling unit has been set up at Touchdown to take action as quickly as possible.
